Just curious, if you could have any shop restore your Mopar. Who would be your top shops that you would trust it with?

Myself...at the body shop I work at. I dont trust other peoples work. A lot can be hidden in body work.

Nick's Musclecar Station in Ft. Scott, Kansas.

He graduated from the McPherson auto program and does some of the best work I've seen.

He is 2 years out for a spot last I checked.

OEM perfection, or just a driver type resto with modern paint with all the jambs made perfect ect? There is a big gap between the two types of restorations, and a lot of shops can't do the technically correct original stuff as they don't have the knowledge to do it.

Real restoration with orange peel, drips and runs, and all the factory markings etc it would have to be here. https://www.rogergibsonautorestoration.com/ or maybe here also https://www.restorick.com/

Magnum Restorations in LaSalle, IL
The Finer Details in Danville, IN
Muscle Car Restorations in Chippewa Falls, WI
Troy Angelly in Eldorado, IL
Apex Restorations in Belgium, WI

All of those I have 100% faith in, no particular order either... wave

Troy Angelly for body and paint. If Im going after OE level gold. But Im not and never will.

Otherwise for a very high quality painter I trust 100% is Holgar at SuperCar Restorations. I would turn him loose with any car I have without worrying about it.

I'll do everything else myself. mainly because Im a tight wad. And I see no reason to pay someone else for work I can do myself.

Same here. However, I do all my own work. 100% correct or not. Doesn't matter to me. I restore or build them my way.

Keep'em coming, I see most of the shops are in the Mid-West.
Anybody in the south?

I was just telling the GF, even though it would be smarter to buy a different car, if I won Powerball I'd have my car completely redone, restomod style.

Street Legal Race Cars in Metamora Michigan. He's just starting to take customer builds and is doing a friend's AAR. His level of detail is kinda scary to me.
I only wish I could afford his work on my Challenger.

If I had that kind of money I have 3 vehicles sitting here that would be headed to Troy Trepanier. It helps that he's only about 18 miles from me. "rad Rides"

I have a car done by MCR in the late 90's and it's still spectacular!

I would definitely choose Mike Mancini's shop American Muscle Car Restorations the work is just breathtaking and the details are spot on. I've worked with them before on dash board projects and the shop is immaculate and organized, you could eat off the floor!

Geoff McBryde. Did my 70 Challenger in about 2006, it still looks great. His dad was one of the first independent Direct connection dealers.

Where in the South?
Moparts buddy Orange_Crush took me to Gemza Bothers outside Charlotte, NC a few years ago. He had his '70 Charger done by them to OEM specs. They showed us around their place for over an hour.. https://moparconnectionmagazine.com/gallery-touring-mopar-valhalla-creations-by-gemza-in-denver-nc/
