P6XW 1971 GTX - 10/15/23 10:54 PM

So I've had my GTX since 1998, where it has spent most of its life in storage awaiting some resto-attention. I had thought it was a Ralley Red, Black top, white interior. Car had new legendary black seat covers and wrong door panels when I bought it. So now its all black and I'm OK with that.

But today I noticed that the P6XW on the fender tag is actually 2-tone seat covers.

I can't seem to find examples. Could someone enlighten me on this?

Thanks
Chris

I think I answered my own question after sleuthing on Hamtramck-Historical. The place that has allot of answers. Seems it is standard white vinyl seat covers.

White interior on a red car is a stunning combo - had a '68 Charger like that.

I do like white interiors on certain colors.

Had a 68 GTX convertible that was silver, black top and white/maroon interior. Beautiful combination....4spd to. boot.
