Can I run a 3-sp wiper motor with a 2-sp switch until I find

I'm installing a new reman 3-speed wiper motor for Air Grabber clearance on my '69 GTX and think I have a 3-speed dash switch but can't locate it at the moment. In the meantime can I just use the two speed switch with the 3-speed wiper motor until I find or purchase a 3-speed switch? Of course if this will work I know it will only have two speeds Thanks.
