hurst 4 speed shift mechanism

I just finished taking apart and cleaning my Hurst shifting mechanism from my 69 GTS. It was packed with grease and grime. I don't know if the grease was from some type of leak. Does it need to be repacked with grease? If so what kind and how much? Thank You !! Scott

Will definitely need grease between each plate. I used a high-temp military axle grease.

Yep, needs grease and it should be waterproof!
