Originally car came with a plastic molding on the bottom of the windshield. They usually shrunk over time and most cracked and are long gone. I did see at one time that someone was repoping them. I believe I saw that in MCG mag.

I cant recall where I got mine from, maybe Steele Rubber? I know the gasket was from them. The profile isn't exactly the same. The repros sit down in the rubber lower and dont match the corner at the stainless trim exactly the same as original. But its all you have to work with now. It will fight you going in and staying down at the ends as it locks in slightly different as well. Takes a while before it naturally will lay flat and stay in place as the trim comes rolled up. Heat helps.

I thought the 67 had a hard trim piece instead of a locking strip?

And you would be wrong. 67 in fact had 4 pieces of locking strip and stanless steel corner pieces as shown in the photo. Only the 3 years of convertible had the locking strip on the bottom.

Asking since I have never seen NOS, the 68 and 69 spare part would be rigid like the 67?
All I have ever seen is the rolled up trim for the 68 and 69. Wonder why no one ever sold the rigid piece by itself? I would have bought that instead of messing with the rolled trim. I think it would have been easier to install.

Yes it is a rigid plastic piece with tin imbedded in it. They were not available until a couple years ago and all there was available was the Ford rolls.

Ah, ok. Would have liked that. The rolled stuff never looked good to me.
