What is the correct color of the flexible preheat tube on a 70 383 HP & 440HP 4BBL from St Louis plant.

Not so much interested in what color the reproductions are they are selling.

I don't recall anything but flat black from the factory. Was a mechanic until ~ 1978, I think it was the 1980's before I saw any silver ones?

Nothing looks worse then those silver colored heat tubes

Reminds me of ribbed flexible radiator hose on a restored car / engine
