Tale of Two Dash Pads (Consumer Review) - 06/10/19 04:10 AM
The old saying, "you get what you pay for" certainly applies to my experience with purchasing two different dash pads for my 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner.
Initial Purchase: The Motor Company's Dash Pad (EBAY: Motorco18013) $219, shipping included
Pros: Cost, looks great, "high quality feel"
Cons: doesn't fit correctly, mounting studs defective, vendor refused to stand by product, doesn't have metal core, a bit heavy
Secondary Purchase: Dante's Mopar Parts Dash Pad, $320, shipping extra
Pros: looks great, light weight, metal core, fits as it should
Cons: Higher Cost
