340 Exhaust Manifolds Heat Sheild? - 04/13/19 02:23 AM

Not the 68-71 ones.
I have a set of 1973 ones that I need them for. does anyone make new ones?
Also, what does the spring look like for the heat riser?
Looks to be in good order and free but the small pin is rusted that the spring goes on.
I blasted painted and cleaned up the ports.

I drilled and tapped the hole for the rusted pin and made a new pin out of a screw/bolt. I just sold a partial heat riser kit with the springs. They look like this.

The Spring for the heat riser is fine on that side as shown I am missing everything on the side that shows no parts.
Anyone have a picture of what goes there and How it looks on there.
The Flapper moves free and easy. And that pin on that side is fine. It is the pin on the side that is missing. The small one is thin but will work. they large one {main one is fine} looks like it has a Spring or something that goes between the 2 of them. That is what I m asking about.

Need the Spark Plug Heat shield for the driver side is that Reproduced?
Thanks

only thing on that side is the small spring. It goes from pin to shaft. It sits in the grooves on the thin pin and on the flapper shaft groove.so it doesn`t side off. sure you can use the rusted pin if you want. I didn`t know if it was flimsy or not.

Thanks i thought it was a,spring or clip. I did not know what it looks like. Do not think I still have it.
I knew a,spring or some thing when there as the small pin is,raised at the edge to keep it on it and the large pin / shaft is grooved for a,wire spring
Any chance of a picture of the Spring so I can get something?

Sorry, I could not open pictures on this phone it is that spring to the right of the picture right?
No need for a shield. I can see now that it is not a Sheild to protect the Spark Plug Wires. It goes to the Air Cleaner and I am running an Oval one.
Was hoping someone was gonna, say oh the reproduce those lol..
These have been off the car for 20 years
