70 and 71 cuda dash wiring harness differences - 10/25/18 12:17 AM

I am curious to know if there are differences, and what those differences are, between a rallye dash wiring harness for the 70 and the 71 Cuda. I am restoring a 70 Cuda and the wiring harness was purchased from Year One (M & H manufacturer). We are having some light switch issues to do with the switch wiring and the fuse block. M & H told my restorer they quit making a 70 dash harness and the one I most likely had was for a 71. At this point my builder and I are not sure what to believe. Anyone else have any issues? Any input would be appreciated.

I think they may be referring to to the fuse block itself. The only block that they make uses the 71 up horn relay. They include it in the deal. I think that is the relay. It just plugs into the fuse block. If you are having light switch problems, you need to make sure you have the correct switch for the three speed wiper. A two speed uses a different switch for the lights and will not plug into a rally harness.

I have the correct wiper switch and wiper motor. Didn’t know about the fuse block upped to a 71. That stumped us because the 70 horn relay wouldn’t work but the 71 relay did. Thanks for the info guys, helps a lot.
