Original 340 Spark Plug Wires-Coil Boot

Did original/OE 1970-1 340 coil wires have the red boot like the big block wires had? Thanks !

Yes, but keep in mind that it was a very dark brick red, often confused with black at a glance.

Do you have any pictures of these red coil boots? I can't say that I've ever seen one. I know some of the mid to late 50's engines had a red boot on the #1 wire at the dist cap.

Actually never mind the picture. I remembered that I had an NOS big block wire set in the basement and this one has the red coil wire boot, guess I never looked at it closely.

You know I could cut them down for a 340

Here's a couple I have... variations in shade of boot in each but both are factory.

Jim, you wouldn't want to cut those down for your Cuda.
Those are Chrysler Canada Ltd wires installed on cars built at the Windsor Ontario Plant.
I have a set of 70 and 71's of those as well, but as you know US built cars have the Chrysler Corporation script instead.
