Help with Lynch Rd info please (last Coronet R/T?) - 07/17/18 03:11 PM

Does anyone know if there is a definite # on total cars or sequence #'s for Lynch rd production. I own a '69 Coronet R/T With an extremely late Body in White # 314498. vin of 9A307819. I think there is a possibility I have the last R/T produced, it is verified produced on 7/11/1969. just trying to nail down further. any help would be appreciated.

9A VINs went at least into the 313xxx range, but even the highest VIN does not mean it was made last.

Body in White # is much past Vin. Just looking for some insight. I am not stating it was the last, just asking is it possible?

Hello Joe,

We spoke for a long time at Carlisle. Thank you for letting me get personal with your car. As I stated, it is the latest BIW I have in my database but there is no way of knowing if it is the last of anything without knowing ALL of VIN/BIW numbers from LR.

Your BIW number of 314 implies we will see some 314 VIN cars from LR. None have yet, but the WWW is a powerful tool. Perhaps someone will post a VIN tag starting with 314.

Good luck selling the car. It is a beautiful R/T.

What the heck goes it matter if it's the last 69 WS27 convertible?

That holds no real value and can't be proven.

It's like the 1 of 1 infatuation everyone has. It's all hype.

Because a WS27 from Lynch Road would be the first, last and only one built there. wink.
What gave you the impression it was a vert?

Agreed,

9A 458XXX LR cars were built around 9/12/68. Still looking for the elusive 314XXX LR VIN.
