new turn signal switch

new turn signal switch - 03/14/18 11:29 PM

any suggestions on where to get a new one for a 70 b body? I remember years ago a new one I had the hazard switch wasn't correct and interfered with the column, so it wouldn't push all the way in.

I recently picked up all the NOS parts for my E body column from eBay.

It's a nice idea, but not in my price range at the moment.

My last customer bought a repop on eBay for about 40 bucks. It works fine. You do have to file down the hazard flasher pull. A 70 column has the narrow slot and the repops are wider like later years. I guess you could enlarge the slot in the column but I modified the switch.

That's pretty much what I figured. Thanks for the input...

The 70 version turn signal switches are not reproduced. I can help with the restoration the one year only 2947509 B body or 2947905 E body turn signal switches. The B body switches push in to turn on the hazard signal lights and the E body pulls out to turn on the hazard signal lights.

You got that right Jim, I can get x50 or more of those compared to x1 70 Cuda for the same money.
