BB oil pump mounting bolts, locks or not?

Should the 4 oil pump mounting bolts have lock washers or not? thanks.

Yes, they came with split lock washers from the factory.

If you look in the 69 Plymouth Sevice Manual under 426 Engines at the end of the engine section, there's a diagram that shows bolts and washers for all the oil pump bolts and cover bolts. They should be grade 8 lock washers as far as I know. It will be the same for all BB's.

Just an FYI if you are switching to a HI VOLUME PUMP you need LONGER bolts ...
