71 E body hood hinges. rebuild or replace?

looking to get some input from anyone who has dealt with it. so when I finished my car june 2016 the hood hinges did not appear that bad but over the past 2 seasons of racing and driving it the hood has opened more times in 2 years than it has in its entire previous life. now the hood doesn't close right and the back corners stick up about an inch.

im curious if I should send my hinges out to get rebuilt or replace them. how have your experiences been with either option

First thing I would do is oil the hinges and work the hinges by moving the hood up and down.Then go to Resto Ricks site and read how to adjust a hood.

if that doesn't work,
send them out to Rick for rebuild

I sent my B-Body hood hinges to Resto Rick. Great job and fast turn around.

I sent mine out on a Monday
and got them back the same week on Saturday

it was a good while ago and
he didn't have to show me anything as mine were
obviously shot to hell..

Yep I've also used Rick and will be using him again in the near future,
