Speedo Question - 12/04/17 05:37 AM

I refaced the speedometer from my 70 Challenger with a Rallye Dash. Before I reinstall, I want to rezero the odometer. Can someone give me some info on how to correctly do this? Thanks

But like with anything, do your own research & consult your local law enforcement agency.

Did you ever get the date codes & all from your non-matching AAR block?

I am still curious about your research project & all the date codes.

I also try to give tips on staying out of legal trouble, I do.

If it is ignored, I can still say I tried.

I'm sure you've spread your gospel/zealousy to ALL of the instrument rebuilding vendors who "reset" the odometer when calibrating/restoring a gauge?...be great to read their responses

You can set your odometer wherever you want it as long as you "disclose" it when selling it.... No brainer...

If you try to hide it or deceive anyone is when you can get into trouble.

I'm guessing this has been asked before, but does anyone make speedometer needles for 71 Cuda rally gauges? Thanks

Jules use to have new needles for E body rallye gauges, try contacting Stephan at S.F Restorations (board sponsor/member)perhaps he can help, or contact OER in California to see if you can purchase a repro needle only from them

Maybe Google and educate yourself BEFORE posting...vehicle in question is more than 10 years old.
