Sway bar size

I need to order some front sway bar bushings and see for a 1970 Cuda they have 7/8 or 15/16 sizes. How do you know what size to get? Mine was disassembled before i got it. It is a big block if that makes any difference. TIA

My little white book says .88 for 1970-1974 E Body. 1970 T/A had .94. Sorry, thats the diameter of the sway bar.

7/8" = .88" and 15/16"= .94". If the white book quoted above is correct you would need the 7/8" bushings but I would measure the bar just to make sure. A quick way to measure would be to slip a 7/8 & 15/16 open end wrench over the sway bar.

Can you still buy the correct sway bar bushing for the bigger bar?

I think I saw them in a Year One catalogue. Probably other venders have them as well.
