Is there a year or design difference on Cuda trunk latches? I've seen some that have an oblong oval shaped opening on the front/face of the latch and then some that don't have this.Does anybody know what year this was changed/redesigned? Thanks

There is no date on them so hard to tell but most of the one's I restored had the opening...

Both of mine have the oval hole. Think they are both from 1970.

There is 2 styles.. most early one i have seen has the hole.
