14 inch brushed ralley wheel trim rings. - 10/04/17 11:09 PM

Hello i know that the OE trim rings found on 72 and up A-bodys are super expensive and hard to find so id like to buy a reproduction set of 4 that are close to OE as possible who sells a good replacement that look nice and fit well.

Nobody makes a nice one. I made my own buy getting polished ones, and brushing them myself.

I did the same thing. The ones I bought have an extra lip around the inside like the 69 "one year only" rings and the valve stem hole is shaped differently. For a total investment of $120 they look decent.

You brushed some polished trim rings , were the trim rings you started with , like the ones pictured in my previous post ???

Yes, those are the ones I started with.

When you're reaching the end of a project and it's "nickel and diming" you to death...then you realize that the correct trim rings aren't available(for a reasonable amount of money)...the above rings are a good alternative to getting the car on the road. twocents

I don't have a close up of them.

I've had them on and off the rim a few times. They come off easily. I can always replace them with "correct" trim rings down the road. I'm happy with them so far.

My Satellite came with them originally on the 14x6 Road Wheels. Mine were a little rough and a friend sent me a good set. But I've found finding these one at a time is the only way to make an affordable set. They aren't as wide as the rim, by that I mean they leave a gap which is correct in 72 and up. I'll look for pictures.

Thanks to all of you who left comments on these trim rings. Ive had 2 N.O.S sets in the past but stupidly sold them i should have kept 1 set.I sold the 1st set for $600.00 US which i thought was alot, the 2nd set went for $800.00 that was at least 5 years ago or more. I have a beautiful set of 4 14x6 Motor wheel Spyder wheels in mint condition with 6 N.O.S Bullet Medallion chrome center caps and 20 correct pointed chrome lug nuts stashed away for my car i love the look of them but id like to have another set of wheels to change up the look on my car. I think ill give up on the trim rings and buy 4 new Team 3 five window wheels they look real cool too.

Glad you pointed that out: I have a set I was going to run on my winter-beater this year!
