71 'Cuda 8 3/4" rear end inspection mark I.D help needed

I decided to clean off 46 years of grease and road grime on my 1971 340 'Cuda yesterday and found several paint inspection marks, I found some slight remains of a yellow axle code on the left axle tube, Orange and white paint daubs on the bottom of the carrier, A yellow "G" to the right of the housing pumpkin but I cannot make out the white marks on the pumpkin itself. It looks like a sideways "J" but the other mark below that looks like it might have been a tilted "A" but some of it is missing, I know no two cars were the same but has anybody seen similar marks that will help me figure out how those marks could have looked when applied ?

On my car, that axle code was printed on the build sheet.

Yes mine is also....019. Those I can see but the ones on the pumpkin are the only ones I can't completely see.

Any change your car is early production?

My SPD is 430, so it is a late production.

That's fairly late.

My guess is the letters indicated a gate position. The rear end was to be in gate J and then gate G OR the other way around. The only a guess.

,A guess is better than what I've gotten anywhere else, I guess I can reproduce the marks I can see like the J and G and skip the other mark on the pumpkin or just recreate it as it currently looks.

My spd was 526, date on rear is 3620, I've got other late 70 stuff, but also late 69 stuff, including my block.... these were some of the markings

I have some of the similar markings on the carrier although mine are a little harder to read, I'll try to clean it a little better once its removed from the car. I assume you didn't have any markings on the housing or pumpkin?

nothing other than what I posted, but there was a tiny blotch of what looked like pink on the driver axle tube, didn't know what it was so I didn't duplicate it when I had the rear rebuilt

I found this photo online from a 1971 'Cuda maybe my sideways "J" is a 4. Any thoughts ? it looks very close to mine(Bottom photo).
