has it been determined when?/what?/why? the "logos" for the switches was added to the gauge lens for 1969 B-bodies?

9A1782-- RR has the words at the bottom. B25 date on tag
We are the second owner and never been apart.
That's all I can help with other then my A12 is the same.

It must be a date thing, of the 3 69 gtx's I have owned the only one with the lettering on the gauge lens had a spd of 9/18.
the other 2 had the lettering below. their spd's were 2/04, and 5/15.

yes, it's looking like a time of year difference & at all 3 b-body plants A/G/E

the date change looks to be around the calendar change DEC. '68 / JAN. '69 (along with the mandatory headrests) with the text being there the first half of the model year.

anyone have a "survivor" type/non-major restoration 1968 built '69 b-body WITHOUT the text on your gauge cluster?
