Were the 2 E body shaker base plate drain hoses held on by a type of hose clamp or not? Thanks!!

Yes the same clamp as used for the heater hose.

speaking about the same hoses...where do they lay when they point down on a small block or big block....behind the alt and p/steering brackets or in front, side?...no what I mean?

4406 hose go between the the 2 halfs of the p/s bracket and behind the alternator hose should be 19 20 " long and BTW i moved the hose brackets down below the nipple so i can remove by hand
