4sp trans mount ?

Finally getting ready to install eng/tran in 70 RR !! Was looking to order a new trans mount... but years not lining up... here is a pic of my mount...??? The ones I see are not the same... Was going to order bolts etc from Brewers...

That looks like a E body trans. cross member to me, not a B body

Correct that's an E body, 70 B body Auto or 4spd (same) is a 1 year only application, although a 68-9 B body can be modified to fit


Contact Brewers, might get a discount trading in your E body crossmember for a 70 B body?

Odd that I have the wrong mount....

did you take the cars apart? or did you buy parts to switch it over to a 4sp? if the later, someone probably sold you the wrong part...it happens all the time.

No bought the car and most of it was apart.... so guess I deserve it...

At least then engine is correct ( #'s etc as well...)

No, you don't deserve it, but its called a "basket" case for a reason....

wow... ok... one $130 part wont break me... or the car... plus the bunch of duplicate pats etc I will be selling when done will surely cover it..
