244 code on 68 8.75 rear ?

Could someone tell me what the 244 code stands for on my 8.75 rear end housing ? The car is a 68 Roadrunner.

It's the last three digits of the part number that represents the rear end assembly. The number would be on your broadcast sheet

244 is a 68 B body w/11" brakes so it's from a drum brake car. Also 7290 yoke and a 3.23 sure-grip.
