LA360 factory markings etc.

Factory installed 360 from a 1974 Roadrunner. Was looking very carefully for grease pencil symbols, paint splotches, etc etc.. and was very surprised at the lack of it.
The only one I found was a paint dab on one oil pan bolt that I carefully cleaned. Is these lack of markings normal? Windsor assembled if that matters, thanks.

One more thing, there is No VIN stamping on this engine. Warranty block? Hence the lack of markings? Casting date of 1973.
