Pulled this from a mid 70's 400. Is it a 400 only piece or will it fit other big blocks?

Not real certain on the mid 70 models but in 71 on down, the front brackets on all BB compressors interchange. It is the rear bracket that is different between 383/400 and 440.

Does this bracket look like the 71 and down bracket?

No, I'd have to look for sure to compare, but the power steering brackets are different on the two. I'll look tomorrow. You may have to PM me to remind me. I have way to many things going on right now.
