1971 Cuda fender gill bushings & gaskets.. - 11/22/15 10:10 AM

Hello everyone,


Im about to change the gills on my car and need to find the small round yellow rubber bushings on the backside of the gills..


Does anyone know where these can be bought?? (SE PICTURE)

Dont remember seeing bushings like that..what would the purpose be than to seal the studs that hold the retainer..i wonder if those go under the pal nuts..

Yep. Those go under the palnuts. That yellowish, rubbery, seal material is used in a couple other odd Mopar applications. Think that material is also used to seal 70-71 Duster taillight bezel studs.

Wish I knew what that material was. if anyone knows I'd be interested. It's molded not die cut. Very soft and squishy. Similar to the stuff may GM light gaskets are made from. I'm 53. Almost reminds me of the material used in the molds Creepy Crawlers Maker toy we had as kids

And i have 13 NOS ones and need a few more to my gills.. If anyone have or kniw where i can find..
