Ah yes, your request has been fulfilled!

These are the unique "Flying Saucer" full wheel covers found primarily on 71 Cuda and Duster. They are the same units original to my 71 Cuda convertible, BS27H1B344342. The photo is of one of my used examples, although I have NOS for the car as well. Original part number is 3461401.

"Beam Me Up, Scotty"

Because of the unique shape of these covers, they required a special length valve stem extension for this model year, 2401840.

my 71 curious yellow cuda w/white billboard, (white interior), 340 4 speed, no option car came with those. All the books I have show these cars were likely shipped new with the double thin stripe white wall, which if some day I get to that level, I will go that route.

For example, all the 71 autoshow pics here in chicago, had the double stripe white walls.

I think they are cool! I too wish I could find some NOS ones. I was thinking of getting some aluminum wheels ones machined to the same look (but in 15"). A guy did that recently for 68 charger hubcaps, but he made full wheels.

Along with many NOS F70 single white Polyglas tires (T86) for my current car, I have acquired a number of the dual white F78's as well. One of the previous convertibles I owned (BS27H1B290263, which was featured in Mopar Action in 94) originally came with these dual whites (T34) as a no-cost option. Yes, you could actually order a SMALLER tire on a Cuda in 71, and along with it came the dual stripe feature. Only through being patient and relentless do parts acquisitons such as this take place.

And, when the going gets tough this time of year, I rely on the trusty Goodyear Custom Wide Tread Suburbanite Polyglas (studded of course) snows for extra "grip".

Happy Motoring!

Many musclecars tried to hook up on those Winters back when they were new.
