What is the correct color top battery for my 70 Challenger RT 383 magnum?

It depends on how it was optioned. If you have a broadcast sheet for it, what code is in the battery box on line 7?

As mentioned above by Alaskan TA, you need the broadcast sheet code to be sure. It depends if the car had the standard equipment Group 24 battery, or the optional Group 27.

I believe the chart in the link below is correct.
