On the interior of the bubble ,you should have three small dimples where the holes could be drilled, for the correct spacing.

Look closely and you will see dimples or outlines.

hello thanks for response,,i did find some outlined circles on the interior of bubble...the previous owner had drilled different holes,,i had some steel hood emblems and they fit the holes....the shaker elbems have the pins in drifferent locations...i went ahead and drilled the 2 other holes..but the emblems seem to be at an angle...is this correct?

hello floyd thanks for reply..looks like the 440 is on left side is actually bent upwards, pic #2 looks more even ..i used an 11/64ths drill bit trying to keep holes as small as possible, it was tight going on and i noticed after taking it off it did bend the 440 upwards ,,i stuck a drill bit in the interior outlined circle its almost 1/4 inch,,,is that about the size of the original holes? thanks in advance...

magnum - maybe someone with a bare bubble will chime in. Sorry, but I'm going to pass on pulling the emblems to measure the hole. The original studs are somewhat prone to breaking and the speed nuts sometimes take a little material each time they go on and off. I think your first picture looks pretty similar to my first picture. The D/S emblem seems to angle up a little more. It's probably exaggerated by the large 440 sixpack emblem. Maybe someone will post a pick of the 426 Hemi emblem which is also kind of large. I'm pretty sure all the holes/studs were the same regardless of emblem.

I always like to back up Floyd.

Here is an NOS emblem on an NOS bubble.

Slants upwards.

Here are the pins to show spacing. Note that the middle pin is not inline with the outer pins.
