Which holes -- Dome light 68 Dart

On the roof cross brace, two towards the rear or the two towards the front?

What is the orientation of the socket? Does it come in from the back of the dome light housing?

I had this question too. Can you look at the slotted holes and see if it looks like a screw has ever been in it? Two of mine looked virgin. The other two you could tell a screw had been in them.

This probably doesn't help you because this is an E-body but it looks like mine used the front holes.
