Not sure exactly what you are asking but if you go to the A12 Registry and look the car up that could help or plug the information in to a mopar decoder and get all the answers you want.

Re: A12 Fender tag - 07/28/14 04:09 AM

I can not articulate on the A12 tags. Oddly in the mopar world no one wants to talk about fender tags, or anything that could possibly bring unwanted attention to a car. Depending on who owns it.

Which is understandable.

The tag deal is an odd one at that, yes we know of the few that make them then there are the pros in the mopar world that can make a spot on tag.

If you had other lynch road tags and stripped them you could look for the rows, usually 3 at a time some press out.

Press is they key word, because many cant get that "stamped" look which leaves shadows on the backside and even on the ends where a cheap shear? made the cut vs an industrial machine, those edges are so curved vs the norm you could shave or pic up some salsa dip with them.

You can also take 5 tags and blast them, they should show an average on a gem scale.

Then obviously the outer lip so many seem to have trouble with, use some good measuring tools on "like tags" and then check the one in question.

Then aside from the codes of which I do not know for that plant or year.

I recall years ago there was rolls and rolls of build sheets that got out....Everyone was assured the money spent was to possibly get mopars blessing. And remember everyone was assured none would got out....

Ummm who was it that got just one off the role????

Honestly you would get better help from your fellow A12 guys on that site unless your fishing for a certain answer.

But if you were to post the tag and its legit

Then although not a bad thing the pic of the tag would be on the www for the info bots to glean.

So either way really asking on here, this is not like the old moparts, your screwed.

Ask the A12 guys, they are friendly.

Re: A12 Fender tag - 07/28/14 04:15 AM

I Have All That Info Its A Documeted Real A12...
I thought That Maybe Someone Might Know Something I have Missed
Ive Looked Thru tons of Threads Study And Read Just Thought Someone Would take A Shot On Deciphering What I provided And see What Gets Thrown Out, rejected, or possibly Brings New Light To Gate Sequence, Scheduled Production Date, Sequential Production Numbers Etc... Thought And Hoped It Could Help Not only Me But Possibly help Others by Fitting My Real A12 M Code Car Into Some Type of Scheduled, Sequential Order As Many Have Questions On Lynch Road And How It was Done...
Thanks Seth

Re: A12 Fender tag - 07/28/14 04:27 AM

I provided That Info On The 6BBL Registry When I First Got It
All Im Asking Is If We Went Line By Line
Starting Top Left
What Production Order Number, Sequential Build, Gate Number stuff Like That
I know its a 329 date, when exactly? I know it went thru gate 08 102 So was my car the Second Thru for Production Date of 329?

Re: A12 Fender tag - 07/28/14 04:41 AM

Don't get your panties in a bunch. You only posted this a couple hours ago. Dave watt knows more about these cars than anyone else. Once he sees this, he will probably chime in. Do you have a build sheet also? The early m code cars were made in batches of autos and 4speeds.

Re: A12 Fender tag - 07/28/14 04:44 AM

A new guy, WELCOME!, is and in after an hour of no action on his question.

RM21M9A257118 was probably "built" Wednesday, 4/9/69 .....

What's your EAD?
What's the date on your "K"-frame?

What's your real question? You have your fender tag decoded.

Re: A12 Fender tag - 07/28/14 01:27 PM

It sounds like you have a good handle on the tag and the various numbers it contains.

If you have your build sheet, what is the print sequence number, line 1 digits 2-7 right after the "B"?

Re: A12 Fender tag - 07/29/14 01:58 AM

It's a red coupe (post car) with black bench seat interior and column shift auto. You need a broadcast sheet to verify any other options. It has an early SO number...part of the second 200 A12 Roadrunners that were released. I don't think anyone has come up with definitive interpretation of gate and sequence numbers?

Re: A12 Fender tag - 07/29/14 10:56 AM

This car is on E Bay now and in my opinion the tag looks questionable.
It is a A12 and has all the correct numbers but the tag looks wrong.
It's a nice car, don't like the yellow lettered goodyears on it, original hood was cut and has some extra brackets on it.
It will be interesting to see how other people like the mods done to it.

Re: A12 Fender tag - 08/03/14 12:49 AM

Not too much info on a A12 fender tag. Lynch Rd. cars just gave you the basics.

A12 guys know the big money cars. This one reminds me of this
cartoon.

Just stating the obvious. I said if you post a picture of it, someone will call it out. And they did as they always do. Its not my fault they are all fake.

Re: A12 Fender tag - 08/09/14 03:21 PM

I saw the tag in the link to the auction.
My post was a reply to 68gtx, who is doing nothing but , that he was wrong about the OP posting pic of the tag.

Re: A12 Fender tag - 08/10/14 02:54 AM

No one is stirring the pot. As I said if you post a picture of the tag someone will call it to question. And they did. Yes or no was the tag called into question. Yes it was. And if you want to get all technical and say he didn't post a picture of it( ok )but several others not just me was smart enough to go look at the tag on the auction.
