1969 GTX gauge cluster options?

1969 GTX gauge cluster options? - 04/30/14 06:32 PM

Curious to now if it was common to have a tach or clock and still have the clear lens stenciled with the wiper washer labels? I have a 150 speedo and need to determine the correct lens. Some one has cut out the tach/clock portion of the cluster for an aftermarket oil pressure gauge.

Thanks

I think the car's Scheduled Production Date may have something to do with the layout also. Do you know the car's SPD?

My '69 GTX is a Dec 16, 1968 SPD with a tach and has the washer wiper on the lens and on the switch panel.

I did that to an old RR 4 speed car that I had. Also put a 150 speedometer in it. Cut a hole in the dummy plate that mounts from the rear. Are you sure it is a GTX? (Twilight Zone music)

My GTX was an "E" LA plant car
