69 B body woodgrain steering wheel

69 B body woodgrain steering wheel - 03/20/14 03:19 AM

Does anyone have the measurements of this steering wheel? I'm installing an ididit tilt steering column in my 69 bee and my original woodgrain wheel won't mount on it. I have to go with aftermarket mounting kit and an aftermarket steering wheel and would like to get as close to original as possible in size of the wheel. Thanks

If I read this right, you have an original woodgrain steering wheel and you are asking for the measurements of a woodgrain steering wheel? Am I missing something here?

It's in storage about 30 miles away.

Measured the one in my '69 Charger. It is 15-7/8" outside diameter.

Is the offset about 5 1/2 inches?

Offset is about 5" to 5-1/4", depending if you measure from the top or bottom of the spokes where they join together.
