Small Block bypass hose...painted or not?

When did the factory stop painting the bypass hose on SB's?

on our 70 challenger convertible, it was painted with the engine.

All Mopar small block engines (up to 1976 at least) painted the bypass hose with the engine assembly.

Thanks, would you happen to know if they were still painted on the Lil Red Express trucks?
