power steering hose; '69 426 Hemi B-body - 02/17/14 05:38 PM

Sorry for the numerous questions; but looking around doing my research and can't find explicitly the proper hose for my Daytona. I am getting a proper Federal power steering pump, but need to find a proper high pressure hose. Sooooooo, any of you guys out there who have put together a 426 Hemi with power steering, what hose did you get if you needed to replace/find one? These puppies are rather expensive, so I want to get it right the 1st time.....

Thanks..
Troy

Check with Roger Gibson or Frank Badalson, also you need the 90 degree fitting that goes on the box.

fitting is on my check list

I am curious on if there's a BIG difference between the '69 and '70/'71? I see Jaime at MegaParts sells the '70/'71 Ebody version for a 426H... Don't see why it wouldn't work for my Charger. I am not looking for 100% OEM correctness.....

The '66-'68 90° Hemi fitting (the same as used on some early A-bodies) has a different hose flare size than the '69-'71. One is 1/4" flare the other is 5/16". (can't remember which is which)
