426 Hemi engine wiring harness - 02/17/14 02:22 AM

Hey gang..

Curious.. I just got my engine harness for my 426 Hemi, application 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. Well, I laid it out over the motor/valve cover and noticed there wasn't a connection for the oil pressure sending unit... Is it different on a hemi car or did M&H just mess up?

Cheers,
Troy

It is on a 71, just might be for a 69. Look at the book to see what it says also.

The oil pressure wire is part of the positive battery cable, as is the neutral safety/backup light harness. Hence the reason HEMI positive cables are so expensive.

Just a question, did the 69s have a special resistance wire that went from the sending unit to the wiring harness? The 71s did just curious.
