70 RR... mone is broke.. ( spring). Looks like Brewers is out of stock.. does anyone else have them? Can you just ground it..?

Yes you can just ground it. Car will start in gear so be careful.

Core must have good spring... mine is toast..

Restored/rebuilt clutch pedal safety switch for 1970 B-body models. This switch grounds the starter relay when the clutch pedal is depressed, allowing car to start. Includes rebuilt switch, secondary wire, activation wire loop/push pin, and attatchment screw. As available. 2947857 CORE SWITCH MUST HAVE UNBROKEN CLOCK SPRING! $139.95 plus core charge.

Yes, I read that but since the first price shown is $269.95 I think you can buy it for that and not return your core.

For over 70 years people started stick shift cars without any safety switch.

Lay the switch on the lawn and see how far you can drive it with a golf club, your crankshaft will love you for it.

I agree with John.I made a ground at the starter relay.Just make sure the car is out of gear,which in reality should be done irregardless on any car with a stick.
