What adhesive tape to attach the 'Cuda tailpanel emblem

What adhesive tape have you used to attach the 'Cuda tail panel emblem?

It's been a long time but I'm pretty sure I put mine on with VERY carefully applied RTV silicone.

If you're using tape get the 3M stuff from an autobody supply store, it has a very aggressive adhesive..

I used body shop two sided tape. It's been on for 7 or 8 years now and still tight as a tick.

The two sided emblem foam is the right way to go, but it will be painstaking to fit and trim to the back of the emblem.

Rather than buy a whole roll, you might hit up a body shop and see if they will spare you a couple feet of theirs. It comes in different widths and in gray and black.

I bought laser cut double sided tape ( cuda specific) on ebay a few months ago

..if using 2 sided tape is there an easy way to remove it?

Other than chemicals, no it is sticky stuff and does it's job well. There is an orange wheel that is made to remove decals and the like, but it is not well suited to this task, IMO.

We use lacquer thinner to remove the adhesive after we have gotten the majority of the foam off.

Of course, be very careful with the solvents being suggested here, they can do a lot of damage, too.
