GCAR plastic rechroming - 12/14/13 08:02 PM

Anyone use these guys? I used them a few years ago and sent another set of dash bezels. Now I have left several messages and no one returns calls or messages. Does anyone know them or if they are still in business? They still have a website up.

He's open for business and doing fine. He works alone and doesn't always communicate really well. just really busy.

Used him for the second time last year and yes communication was poor and ETA kept moving back.
What I didn't like was when I confronted him on all the slowness and excuses and then he was able to do and ship my stuff in a week after it sat there for 4 plus months.
In the end the quality was good but not sure I'd give my money out again.

Glenn's quality is second to none in my opinion. I wouldn't use anyone else. And I would wait the time necessary to have it done right.

Used him on a 66 fairlane cluster and dash pieces. While not fast turn around the product was perfect! We were nit in a hurry so no issues there for us. I did put a small scratch in it. Called and left him a message. He returned my call and gave me the paint info to paint the gray. I was worried I'd have to send it back to him. The next one we need to do it will get sent to him.

Quality is one thing. Not returning two weeks of calls and messages is another. I'm wondering what to do now if I never see my bezels again. This first time I used him he talked to me on the phone although that was about 5 years ago now.

Questions :

When did you send them ?
Did he know you were sending them ?
Did you track your package ?

Like Scott said,he is a one man operation and very busy,he does them as he gets them and you wait your turn,be patient !! He had mine three months and with the quality of his work I would have waited three time that.

HI Mopucky, I want to apologize for not getting back to you and anyone else that has been tiring to reach me. Things have been a bit crazy for me and my returning messages has suffered. I am still open and am busier than ever. Please PM me your name and I'll get right back to you on your parts.

I appreciate the good words from my past customers and I want to keep that going with my new ones. Thanks for everyone's patience with me.

I used GCAR for the Daytona and was pleased with the results. As others have said be patient. Seems to be a hard thing for some to do these days.
