Need to find source for window hardware - 11/12/13 05:35 PM

Not 100% sure this is the correct part but I've been told it was just no one seems to know where to find them or exactly what it's called.

Holds the top front of door windows in the track.

Figured you resto guys might have a line on where to find these, thanks.

Pic of what is supposed to be the part.

I think the thread below is about that part. There are part numbers for the piece alone and the w/strip that includes them.

If you just need those retainers I have a bunch of good used ones. No felt sliders, though.

FYI: Just checked with the local Chrysler dealer. Both part numbers are still available. Pricing here in Canada; #4198752 slider $9.84, #2932230 w/strip with sliders $86.54.

Some w/strips on ebay, most are higher than dealer price.

Don't feel bad they were $90 a side almost twenty years ago.

YearOne sells this part, which might be a good deal if you can use a 30% off code. I just got another 30% off/one day sale code from them yesterday.

Check Monicatti Chrylser who is the only seller I know of who discounts Mopar Performance parts. I think this is an MP part?

I need this part ASAP!
71 Challenger door glass to horizontal regulator track fastener. My research indicates the regulators and associated hardware are different between years 70-72 and 73-74. I don’t know if my driver door or window regulator have been swapped or not. I see kits online for 70-72 but don’t see images including this part. I see kits online for years 73-74 that do contain parts similar looking to this. This is the fastener that attaches the forward end of the horizontal regulator track to the glass using a machine screw which I do still have. Retailers referred me to Mr Mopars who referred me to you folks. Please help. My window is not fastened and will not roll up or down. Of course I have a car show this Saturday and it’s the only one for the year.

Maybe R/T specialties, I needed a plastic part for the door glass in my 1971 Newport several years ago and didn't know the name of it even. I called and spoke to Tom and he immediately new what I was looking for and had it in stock. http://www.rtspecialties.net/search.php
