VIN plate color and finish

The one on the dash, AAR. Is it flat black or satin black. It appears smooth so I am figuring it is just regular paint not anything rough.

Satin black would be more correct than flat black

Thanks, I was thinking Sati as well. I painted it flat yesterday and i just didn't look right.
