PAINT CODES FOR TRUNK FINISH PANEL???

Restoring a trunk finish panel for my '69' GTX. Could someone send me the correct paint codes for the black,and red trim
that came from the factory on these? Thanks in advance! Randy B.

I don't know the paint codes ,but I done the grill and head light bezels and the lip on the hood on my 1967 GTX and I got the Silver Argent from a place called Totally Auto it came in a rattle can worked great.If you contact them they will have the right silver argent. hope this helps

Thanks,Murray...but I don't need the Argent Silver code..I need the black...and dark red codes. I can't believe NO ONE on here has these!..or maybe they have them,but don't care to help me!??

Randy I don't know the black or red paint codes but if no one comes back with any help I would have to say that the black is the same paint they use for the black around the (your/'69) GTX's tail light and maybe the headlight bezels. It would make sense for it to be similar to the tail light black. The red is probably something like '69 R4 red but that's also just a guess.

What A12 says is what I recall from seeing them new. The red accent was IIRC more red than orange, but R4 is probably about right.

Agree with the more orange than red too...you can see that it looks pretty orange in the photo more like the air grabber grill orange/red.
