1969 426 hemi alternator part number - 04/07/13 08:22 PM
Can anyone tell me what the correct part number that is stamped into an original 1969 37 amp alternator? The parts book lists numbers for alts. with and without pulleys so I'm doubting that the parts book number is what is stamped into the case.

should it not be 2642537, although I think I recall having a 3438172

Hi Jason: This is Tony Malcein from Wisconsin. The number stamped into the case should be 2875549. I remember that number in my head. I eventually found one from YOU a number of years back. Do you have another one to sell?

when I googled 3438176, alot of stuff came up for 1969,
