70 Challenger SE/A63 Door and Quarter Panel Trim Clips - 04/07/13 01:39 PM
I am in desperate need of a clip set to hold my SE/A63 Trim on top of my doors and quater panels on my 70 Challenger. I've spoke with Tom of R/T and Mr. G's and I'm striking out. Do any of you have any sources for these clips?

The originals were spring clips similar to the picture below...

But you could easily substitute a bolted clip as long as you attach the trim before you install the glass....

Too bad the glass is already installed! I'm not about to go through that head ache.

If your really good with a mirror, light, & 1/4" sockets/extensions it is doable.... Roll the glass up & use a mirror to see what kind of access you'll have, it's not easy but I'm sure it can be done..

www.restorationspecialties.com they have a host of spring wire push in molding clips like in Randy's pic, ...IIRC you will need a stud/threaded style wire/spring clip for the rear of the door molding as it's accessible from the inside door janb, I believe the rest are push in style...
Start on page 131 of their on line catalog...
