Federal pump. My Q5 GTS 383 4-speed is a power steering car. I am getting ready to repop the pressure hose. Let me see if I have a pic... Edit: I don't have one saved on my laptop, I will upload one when I get home tomorrow.

The drivers rear motor mount pad had the hole shaved off, and easy way to tell a true A-Body block, you can't bolt regular motor mount brackets on it!

The hose in the last picture is one I had made, so it is not exactly original. I can take a pic of my original hose if you need it.

Nope, the car in Ohio is an automatic and I was looking to buy that car in 1996! Mine is a console 4-speed and I have owned it since 1978.

Is that a 90 degree fitting on top of the steering chuck? If so, can you get them somewhere? Thanks.

The car I almost purchased in 2004 was a Q5 4-spd, no console though.

Now you've done it , there will be a slew of 383 blocks coming out of Maine and elsewhere that are REAL A body blocks , the funny part will be they will not be from the correct build plant

The mount boss was milled off, and I don't think anyone will be trying to fake A-Body blocks by taking the time to mill too many of them off. I stripped out the 90 degree fitting back around 1990 and was able to find an exact duplicate in a hydraulic fitting business.
