Mopar Aftermarket Aluminum Valve Covers on 383 - 11/09/12 03:18 PM

I am trying to install the aluminum Mopar aftermarket valve covers on my 68 barracuda with a 383. I am having a hard time trying to get the passenger side to fit. I think it is hitting the exhaust manifold (stock). Has anyone else had trouble with this? Thanks in advance!

Might have to drill the holes out a little. Or take a fuzz off the lip if it's hitting the exh. man.

Also, sometimes if you use different bolts you gain a little room to shift the cover around.

be prepared for leaks. My buddy used the Mopar aluminum valve covers and found they leaked at the bolts holes because the casting was angled instead of flat.
