Black interior. What color black and finish ? On the doors.
single stage ? 2k ? clear ?

the original paint code is X9 but theres a lot of wiggle room there, dont use clear. Just a good single stage black enamel.

Pretty sure it should be gloss . . .that is what I have (and originally had) on my 70 Sport Satellite.

Factory parts were gloss, but didnt have a mirror finish..

I used PPG Concept black on mine.

If you use base/clear, just add 10-15% clear matte to the clearcoat. It just depends on what brand paint you use for the mixing ratio. Same goes for single stage paint. Also, this is where the cheaper brand paints come into use, being a lower quality, giving it a factory look, if it is applied right.

I just went to the local paint shop...they pulled the color sheet and sold me a pint of paint with reducer and hardner.... PPG...

$150.... ouch...

I tried using the white interior color, didn't like it so I tried the satin black. Didn't like it either and decided to use the body color, (Sublime). It looks great but its not correct.
