on my LA built B7 Cuda there was no blackout behind the grill, but there was black organasol type paint on the cowl. here is a pic during disassembly to show the untouched areas that have no black out in the grill area.

Here's the blackout requested, take care to read the notes regarding vehicle color

This print is more of a "negative", meaning it shows you where the body color is exposed during blackingout the car, although it's a Challenger the print states B/J, as well as F/G series....early print

Although you didn't request the trunk area, I'd thought I'd throw it up anyway

Remember that it was done in a very haphazzard (sloppy) method.

PM me and I will send you somy typical examples from a wrecking yard.

I had a 1970 Barracuda Gran Coupe the exact same color of yellow as your car is. Mine was a 318 auto with gold unholstery and a black vinyl top.

i found another pic after i pulled the motor/tranny before being sent out for body/paint in 2008. keep in mind the car had a cheap outer repaint a while before i bought it. whoever repainted the car failed to paint any door jams, engine comp, trunk areas which was a good thing for detail photos.

FYI***just re-read mike mancinis article in mopar action for the OE GOLD car he did. it said in the article that darker colored cars received no grill blackout. *** Apparently B7 was one of those colors. Im curious if it is written in any tech bulletins.

Looks like we are in the same boat in having to deal with a color change, although I like your black over orange better than the green over yellow combo on my car. Not sure what somebody was thinking when they decided it would be a good idea to shoot the outside of my car green while leaving everything under the hood still yellow. Maybe they were a Packers fan
