68 dodge coronet gas tank

i am having a problem with the vent tubes on my gas tank on my 68dodge coronet, cannot get the vent tubes to work, i have decided to go ahead and buy a new tank.

Where is the best place to buy a gas tank? what is the difference in the 180.00 and the 119.00 on ebay? i know you get what you pay for. what is wrong with the cheaper ones?

the cheap ones are made in china and the 180ish ones are a canadian product. i believe the canadian ones are formed out of a thicker gauge of steel.

i just bought a canadian one at the nats and i paid 155.

Got mine for my 67 from rockauto. They had the best price on the Canadian made Spectra Premium tank. Looks great. I think it was $125 if I remember correctly.

Got mine for my '68 from Spectra as well. Was about 2 years ago, but I'm sure it was around $125.00 as well. Decent tank...everything fit fine.
Lots of vendors selling them, so shop around for the best deal on that brand.
