How far ahead of the car's build date should the intake casting date be to be considered more or less correct? Also can anyone give me any leads on 70 carhs for an auto. car? Thanks.

The intake is dependent on the assembly date of the engine vs. the assembly date of the car.

Did you try a want ad in the right place for your carbs ?

Generally that Link has some value. But when it comes to Chrysler, things sometime rarely follow the norm. My 1971 Hemi Motor does not fit into much of the values or time they have set up. Block and head cast in 1968, assembled in 1969 so the 30 to 90 day time period is tossed out the window. I know why the motor to my 1971 Hemi Car has all these extreme date distances from the Cars assembly date and it is common to Hemi Motors put into Hemi Bodies built at the time my Car was assembled.I would think that for 1970 production you could follow some of the rules they have stated in the link.
